Count the wombats at Ronny Creek

I would get off the plane in Hobart early on a Saturday morning and hire a car.

First stop - the Salamanca markets. Great food, buskers and fantastic Tasmanian goodies...

Then straight out to the Cradle Mountain area, to Ronny Creek...

It's time now to count the wombats roaming about in the freshly fallen snow...

This is how I would love to spend my one day in God's country - Tasmania.

Susie, I've never seen wombats in the wild so Ronny Creek is clearly the place I need to get to.

I love how you refer to Tasmania as God's country - I know many would agree.
