This accommodation got my attention because: - it is World Heritage nominated
- it is fully self-contained
- guests get to stay in one of Tasmania's most significant historic sites
- there is complimentary entry to the Colonial Farm village attraction and Heritage Gardens
- the historic township of Longford is close by

This accommodation got my attention because:
- I still remember the fabulous dinner we had in the Laurel Berry restaurant
- after dinner I spotted a platypus in the creek after just a few minutes
- a 5 minute drive gets you to the Trowunna Wildlife Park (where you can see Tasmanian devils)
- a 10 minute drive gets you to the Mole Creek caves
